1995 Chevrolet S - 10 LS 4.3 5 Spd EX CAB a/c NEEDS WORK GOOD INSPEC in Warwick, New York
For sale 1995 CHEVY S10 LS 4X4 extended cab. Needs work, or for parts.
I will start by saying this truck is not road perfect right now.
She was my everyday driver till last week when i was
cut off, and had to slam the brakes to avoid a collision. the driver side front brake is grinding and from what i
can tell the power steering pump went as well,
I cannot afford a mechanic to fix her problems and i have no time or the space
to even attempt the job. if you know how to work on vehicles then you shouldnt
have much of a problem getting this one road ready in little time
its a fairly simple truck to do work to if you know what your doing.
i will disclose everything i know about the truck be it good or bad to the best of my knowledge.
It is sold as is, and you need to pick it up in warwick new york at 320 kings highway 10990.

I was able to drive it home and park it and ive been starting it every 3 days or so
Never has a problem starting up. Idles funny and stalls till it warms up.
Does NOT stall while your driving
"THE GOOD"
-New MAF "mass air flow" sensor.
-Mechanic adjusted timing
-New fuel filter 120 miles ago
- Diamond plate rear mud flaps
-Tires still have some alright tread left on them
-New Spark Plugs and wires, Rotor button
-Black out Halo Headlights with new bulbs
-PIAA Dual beam heavy duty fog/off road halogens.
One yellow fog and one spot light blinding bright halogen.
55 watts mounted to a dash toggle. Very Bright, Brand new they sell for close to 300$
-Ice cold A/C and Good Heat
-Passed NJ state inspection still has about a year left.
-Skull shifter and custom mounted horn button on the side of stick for easy reach.
-Steering wheel horn still works just disconnected for the shifter horn
-Engine is a Z code 4.3 6 cylinder Vortec and has plenty of power despite high mileage
oil changes and basic fluid top offs have always been done on time according to the original owner.
even in these tough times i have kept up with the engine maintainence .
oil is still good for another 1000
- Glass pack muffler sounds good
-Rotten gas and brake line have been replaced. rear line replaced front to back with new splitter.
-Replaced rear axle differential gasket and cover. Along with a cleanout and new fluid.
-Front shocks replaced in april
-Interior Dash and trim in awesome shape all lights and gauges works.
Driver seat has small tear on left from getting in and out
-5 Speed Manual Trans
-Extended Cab with 2 Fold in seats
- Will include the two extra tires i have for it in the back
- OEM cassette player, not the best radio but the sound quality is pretty good for what it is.
-Brand new Interstate green top Battery in april
"THE BAD"
some of these things i will list are petty and simple fixes,
but i will list them nonetheless to be honest and fair with you.
-Steering is tight. It could be driven but its difficult to make sharp turns.
i believe the Power steering pump is the culprit.
-Needs front brakes and probably rotors. driver side just started to grind.
- A cracked windshield
- hood is a little wavy, still closes opens and latches.
just doesnt look perfect
-Rear driver shock mount was broken off when i purchased it, friend attached a small frame structure around the actual frame to be able to mount shock in place. have not had any problems with it.
-Could use a new cap and rotor. has a bit of hesitation when goin up steep hills or quickly accelerating. although the engine feels powerful it lacks pulling power
-spare tire is in the bed of the truck, the mechanism to hold it underneath is far to rusty to work.
-Working 4x4 - easy to get into 4x4 but the rubber coated cable is frayed so getting out of 4x is tough
-Last owner spray painted cab windows black
- Rot - in corners of the cab near the back from water building up in there. cut off the rot, primed the rust and screwed
sheet metal panels to cover the holes. and screwed on. drivers side is blue other side black.
- Rear pass fender lip has got some rotten spots and driver side is starting to rust
typical rot spots for the S 10
- Front fenders are in great shape
-Driver Door sags a little so you need to shut door harder than normal, very heavy doors.
-no severe dents but it does have some minor ones
-missing one tail gate strap, some trim pieces by the windshield corners broken and also missing square trim piece to go around tailgate handle. wich does open and close.
- driver mirror was broken off but reattached.
that is everything i can find wrong with this truck.
